Chapter 150 of the One-Punch Man manga has been delayed, which is sure to dissapoint fans. On the bright side, One-Punch Man co-creator Yusuke Murata has created an amazing animated 2-minute short and shared it via Twitter as an apology to fans. The short, which is sure to delight fans, sees One-Punch Man protagonist Saitama rushing to pick up groceries before the store closes. In the tweet, which is included below, Murata apologized for keeping fans and stated that the latest chapter has been delayed due to "various circumstances."
In a follow-up tweet he shared that he would like to be able to add voice, music, and sound effects to the animated short. He also shared that he would like to work on other projects and not just One-Punch Man.
One-Punch Man began as a web comic in 2009 and was created by the artist ONE. In June of 2012 a digital manga remake was published on the Shueisha's Tonari no Young Jump web site. The manga is illustrated by Yusuke Murata. Its chapters are periodically compiled and published into individual tankōbon volumes.
An anime adaptation of the manga debuted in October of 2015 in Japan. The first season of the anime was produced by Madhouse and the second season, which originally aired in April of 2019, was produced by J.C. Staff.
