Many gamers who are into DOTA, a series of strategy-based video games that have been popular since it began in 2003, are likely fans of the anime on Netflix. DOTA: Dragon's Blood is so popular, in fact, that a second season is now on the way.
Netflix has today announced, via Twitter, that DOTA: Dragon's Blood: Book Two is imminent. The release date of the new episodes is up in the air as one wasn't included in the tweet.
Luckily, however, fans hoping to get a glimpse into what's ahead aren't out of luck. The streaming platform made sure to include something like a teaser, with an official image included with the announcement tweet, as you can see below.
Many fans instantly concluded that the furry creature on the left is Pangolier, a member of the Nivan Gallants in DOTA 2. That doesn't seem to be the case, however, as Netflix was quick to release a follow-up tweet as confirmation.
So what do you guys make of this? Are you excited for a second season, or are you intrigued about the furry creature in the image? Either way, be sure to share your thoughts in the usual spot.
In the meantime, you can catch the first season of DOTA: Drago's Blood on Netflix! Anime fans will also dig our chat with My Hero Academia and Attack on Titan voice actor Clifford Capin, which we've included below.
