Umamusume: Beautiful Derby, the ongoing TV anime adaptation based on the mixed media project by Cygames that reimagines real life racing horses as anime girls that race and sing, has released a new key visual and a new preview video for the forthcoming third season.

The first season of the 13-episode television anime Uma Musume Beautiful Derby debuted in April 2018. The series was broadcast live on Crunchyroll as it aired in Japan. In December 2018, the fourth Blu-ray Disc edition of the Uma Musume Lovely Derby television anime included a "BNW no Chikai" (BNW's Oath) animation. The main Uma Musume Beautiful Derby television anime's second season debuted in January 2021. The anime was shown live on Crunchyroll as it was in Japan. The anime is currently producing its third season.
In addition to serving as inspiration for its own television anime, the Uma Musume Beautiful Derby franchise's spinoff manga title Umayon debuted in July 2020 and ran through September 2020. In February 2022, a unique anime celebrating the game's first anniversary made its online premiere. And then a new short anime series titled Uma Yuru debuted on October 16.
The Uma Musume Beautiful Derby game debuted in February 2021 on iOS and Android. The game was originally scheduled to launch in Winter 2018 but was postponed to improve the game's quality. In March 2021, the game was made available on Windows through DMM Games.
The idea for the game is introduced by Uma Musume (Horse Girls), girls with exceptional sprinting prowess who want to become top idols and participate in the national sporting entertainment program "Twinkle Series." Players help the girls at the Nihon Uma Musume Training Center Gakuen (Japan Horse Girls Training Center Academy) make their debut by acting as their teacher and trainer.
